Lee Meyer
Lee has spent the previous two seasons as Head Athletic Trainer Miami Marlins. He previously spent 5 seasons with the Houston Astros organization, including 2019, ’20, ’21 as a Major League Assistant Athletic Trainer. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, a Licensed Athletic Trainer, and a Certified Athletic Trainer. Meyer joined the Astros organization in 2017 following seven seasons with the New York Yankees as an athletic trainer in the club’s Minor League system. Lee also spent three off seasons as the Head Athletic Trainer for the Cardenales de Lara in the Venezuelan Winter League from 2014-16. Prior to landing a full-time position with the Yankees, Meyer held internships with the Colorado Rockies and Pittsburgh Pirates, as well as the Indianapolis Colts of the NFL and Walt Disney World. Lee enjoys the outdoors spending time hunting and fishing as well as exercising. He completed IRONMAN Louisville in 2016 and, along with his wife, has raised thousands of dollars in purpose of philanthropy work across the country and world.
Rick Lembo
Rick Lembo will be entering his 5th year in MLB. He spent the last 20+ years as the Director of Sports Medicine at the Sierra Pacific Orthopedic Center, in Fresno, Calif. and holds a clinical appointment at California State University, Fresno. Rick has 15 years of baseball experience, as an Assistant Athletic Trainer for the , Los Angeles Dodgers from 2007-10 after serving as Head Athletic Trainer at the Minor League level with the Chicago Cubs (1994-97) and San Francisco Giants (1999-2003). He also served as an Athletic Trainer for the United States in the 2013 World Baseball Classic. Rick is a certified member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA). He holds a license as a Physical Therapist Assistant and is Certified as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Rick continues his postgraduate and post professional studies in Bio-Kinesiology and Organizational Leadership. Rick is originally from Syracuse, NY; where he attended (Bishop Ludden Catholic HS ’87) he and his family (wife Maria Tulare Union HS ’91 CSUF ‘96) and daughter Allie) reside in Clovis, Ca.
Eric Reigelsberger
Eric is in his second season as a Major League Assistant Athletic Trainer. Eric is going into his 10th season with the Miami Marlins organization and has served as Minor League Medical Coordinator and Minor League Athletic Trainer. He debuted with the major league club in 2023. Prior to the Marlins, Eric held an internship with the New York Mets as well as the NFL’s former St. Louis Rams. Eric earned his bachelor’s degree from the Central Methodist University in Fayette, Missouri. He then went on to graduate school at Wichita State University as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer with their baseball and cross-country teams. Eric currently resides in South Florida with his wife Danielle and their daughter Palmer.
Jose Alvarez
Jose Alvarez was previously the Minor League Medical Coordinator and spent the previous 4 years as the Latin America Medical Coordinator for the Miami Marlins. Spent a year as the MiLB Assistant Rehab Coordinator for the St. Louis Cardinals. Previously, Jose joined the Chicago Cubs and served in the Latin America Medical Coordinator role. He obtained an internship through the PBATS internship program with the Boston Red Sox with the DSL and Short Season teams. Has spent 12 seasons working winter ball in Mexico, Venezuela, and the Dominican Republic including the past three years with the back to back champions Tigres del Licey. Prior to starting in pro ball, held an internship in the Cape Cod Baseball League with the 2012 Champion, Wareham Gatemen. Jose earned his bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University and his master’s degree from Bridgewater State University. He is from Phoenix, AZ and resides in the Dominican with his wife Genesis, and children Nomar, Phoenix, & Neymar.
