The Rolex Raffle benefits the Jimmy Warfield and Bill Buhler PBATS Educational Scholarships, along with other conference scholarships, which provide financial support to athletic training students and early-career professionals pursuing opportunities in professional baseball. These scholarships help offset the costs associated with clinical education, travel, and professional development, while also supporting access to PBATS educational programming, research, and networking opportunities. Through this initiative, PBATS continues to invest in the growth of the profession and the development of the next generation of athletic trainers.
“This raffle continues to be a meaningful way to support and bring awareness to PBATS scholarship programs and our broader commitment to the athletic training community. Ken Crenshaw of the Arizona Diamondbacks does an outstanding job organizing this initiative each year, and it wouldn’t be possible without the support of our athletic trainers and sports medicine and performance staff across the league. We’re grateful for the collective effort from our membership and sincerely appreciate everyone who contributed throughout spring training,” said PBATS President Nick Kenney.
PBATS continues to serve as an educational resource for Major League and Minor League Baseball athletic trainers by providing members with educational information as it relates to the profession while helping to improve the understanding of sports medicine to better promote the health of professional baseball players.
A special thanks goes out to Henry Kay Jewelers and all prize partners for their continued support of the Rolex Raffle.
