The Texas Rangers are looking for a Full-Time Certified Athletic Trainer at the Minor League Level to work at their Rookie Affiliate in Surprise, Arizona for the 2020 Championship Season. The applicant would be part of the Athletic Training staff during the Off-Season, Spring Training, Extended Spring Training, the Arizona League, and Fall Instructional League. This position would require the applicant to relocate to Arizona.
Primary Job Responsibilities will include but not limited to the following: Athletic Training Room duties, Practice and Game Coverage. Field Set-up and Break Down in conjunction with daily activities. Injury prevention, evaluation, rehabilitation and tracking. Communication with AZ Medical Coordinator, Minor League Physical Therapist, Rehabilitation Athletic Trainer, team doctors, and other organizational staff. Arriving on time and conducting themselves in a professional manner per organizational standards.
Off-Season Responsibilities would consist of helping with Rehab as well as Off-Season mini-camps.

- Current NATA BOC Certification and CPR/AED Certification Required as well as eligibility for Licensure in Arizona.
- Ability to Pass a Background Check and Drug Screening Required
- Prior baseball experience preferred, but not required.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred but not required.
