JOB DESCRIPTION:  The Texas Rangers are looking for a Full-Time Certified Athletic Trainer at the Minor League Level to work at their Short Season A Affiliate in Spokane, Washington for the 2019 Championship Season. The applicant would be part of the Athletic Training staff during Spring Training, Extended Spring Training, the Northwest League season, and Fall Instructional League. Spring Training and Extended Spring Training would be located in Surprise AZ.

Primary Job Responsibilities will include but not limited to the following: Athletic Training Room duties, Practice and Game Coverage. Field Set-up and Break Down in conjunction with daily activities.  Injury prevention, evaluation, rehabilitation and tracking.  Communication with AZ Medical Coordinator, Rehabilitation Athletic Trainers, team doctors, and other organizational staff. Arriving on time and conducting themselves in a professional manner per organizational standards.

QUALIFICATIONS: Current NATA BOC Certification and CPR/AED Certification Required as well as eligibility for Licensure in Arizona.

  • Ability to Pass a Background Check and Drug Screening Required
  • Prior baseball experience preferred, but not required.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred but not required.
