JOB DESCRIPTION: The Milwaukee Brewers are seeking Associate Minor League Athletic Trainers for our 2026 season. These positions will be based out of the Phoenix/Spring Training Complex and with our full-season affiliate teams (Biloxi, Wisconsin, and Wilson.) Assistant Athletic Trainers will report at the beginning of Spring Training 2026 (Mid-February) and work through the end of the Minor League affiliate seasons. This is an exciting opportunity to gain valuable experience and be a part of a professional baseball organization. As part of the Medical Department this role will support the prevention, care, treatment, and rehabilitation, under the supervision of a certified/licensed Athletic Trainer, for all athletic injuries and illnesses incurred by Milwaukee Brewer Minor League players.
Core duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Assist in the evaluation of baseball specific injuries and general medical conditions.
- Assist in the development of rehabilitation and return to play progressions (i.e., throwing, hitting, running)
- Perform daily treatments and ensure adherence to maintenance exercise routines.
- Collaborate with the Strength and Conditioning, Nutrition, Physical Therapy, and Player Development staff to develop and implement rehabilitation plans/initiatives.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical information and medical files on players and staff in the MLB Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
- Assist with the maintenance of inventory of medical equipment and supplies purchased or owned by the Milwaukee Brewers organization.

QUALIFICATIONS: The ideal candidate will have national certification from the National Athletic Trainers Association and are eligible for state licensing in the state of the affiliate in which they are assigned. Candidates with the ability to speak Spanish are preferred, but not required.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) from four-year college or university.
- Masters in Athletic Training (M.S.A.T.) preferred, but not required.
