Job Description:

  • 6 month position (March – August) based in Port St. Lucie, FL
  • Reports to Minor League Medical Coordinator & Minor League Rehabilitation Coordinator
  • Assist with daily treatment for Extended Spring Training, Rehab & Gulf Coast League teams
  • Assist with transportation to and from physician’s appointments, including entrance physicals, in Port St. Lucie and other locations as necessary as well as accompany player during physician examinations
  • Facilitates communication between doctor and Minor League Medical Coordinator, Rehabilitation Coordinator and affiliate athletic trainers regarding player visits to physician.
  • Utilization of and entry of treatment and medical records into RMS (Electronic Medical Records)
  • Assist with field setup and event coverage for Extended Spring Training, Rehab & Gulf Coast League games
  • Will work with and travel with Gulf Coast League team and assist affiliate athletic trainer if not responsible for other duties during that time frame
  • Opportunity to assist with Florida State League team over course of season to gain experience as well


-NATABOC Certification required

-Current CPR/AED certification required

-Baseball experience preferred

-Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred

-CSCS preferred

-Previous PT clinic / rehab experience preferred

-AHMS / Sutton or injury database software experience preferred

Salary Information

-Hourly rate plus overtime

-Housing provided (stay at team hotel – 7 days/week)

-3+ meals/ day provided

-Transportation to and from your home to FL and daily to complex is provided

-Uniform provided
