David enters his 10th year as the Assistant Athletic Trainer with the Milwaukee Brewers Major League Team. In 2015 and 2014 was part of the staff that received the Martin-Monahan Award for the best medical staff in professional baseball. Yeager, 48, previously spent 7 seasons in the Milwaukee minor league system including AA Huntsville and AAA Nashville. He was named 2007 Southern League Athletic Trainer of the Year by his peers and served as the Southern League North Division All-Star Athletic Trainer. He is an active member of the Professional Baseball Athletic Trainers Society (PBATS) chairing the internship commit- tee David is an NATA Certified Athletic Trainer and is certified by the NSCA as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist. He holds athletic training licenses in Wisconsin and Alabama. David earned his bachelor’s degree from Auburn University and his Master’s from Jacksonville State University. David and his wife, Wendy, reside in Athens, Alabama with their sons, Duke and Seth.
