JOB DESCRIPTION: Provide rehabilitative treatment and services across the Brewer’s minor league system for both operative and non-operative patients located in Phoenix, Arizona. These services include, but are not limited to, therapeutic exercise prescription, manual therapy, patient education, development and management of player throwing programs, and development and implementation of return to play progressions. The Minor League Physical Therapist/Athletic Trainer will work with the Player Health and Performance departments to provide high-quality athlete-centered care and team/game coverage as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:    

  • Doctorate degree (DPT) from four-year College or university required.
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) and/or Master’s degree (M.A.), Athletic Training or related field highly recommended.
  • Current National Athletic Trainers Association (National Certification), and in good standing.
  • Must be able to obtain licensure as an athletic trainer and physical therapist in Arizona.
  • One to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
