JOB DESCRIPTION: Provide rehabilitative treatment and services across the Brewer’s minor league system for both operative and non-operative patients located at the Milwaukee Brewers Dominican Republic Academy. The Minor League Physical Therapist/Athletic Trainer will work with the Player Health and Performance departments to provide high quality athlete centered care and team/game coverage as needed.
Core duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Treat injured players with attention to injury prevention, medical treatment, and rehabilitation of injuries.
- Assist with supervision and education of the Minor League medical staff which includes Athletic Trainers, strength & conditioning personnel, etc.
- Communicate with Rehabilitation Team of all medical treatments, evaluations, or exams performed on players.

QUALIFICATIONS: The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of professional baseball experience in the medical or a related field, have national certification from the National Athletic Trainers Association and a Doctorate degree (DPT) from four-year College or university required. As well as the ability to live in the Dominican Republic. Candidates with the ability to speak Spanish are preferred.
