Job Description: The Texas Rangers are looking for a Full-Time Certified Athletic Trainer at the Minor League Level to work in the Dominican Republic for the 2018 Championship Season. The applicant would be part of the Athletic Training staff during Spring Training, Dominican Extended Spring Training, Dominican Summer League Season (DSL), and Fall Instructional League. Spring Training would be located in Surprise AZ and the Dominican Complex is located in Boca Chica, Dominican Republic.

Primary Job Responsibilities will include but not limited to the following: Athletic Training Room duties, Practice and Game Coverage. Field Set-up and Break Down in conjunction with daily activities.  Injury prevention, evaluation, rehabilitation and tracking.  Communication with Medical Coordinator, Assistant Medical Coordinator, Rehabilitation Coordinator, team doctors, and other organizational staff. Arriving on time and conducting themselves in a professional manor per organizational standards.

Housing provided all seasons (Hotel for Spring Training, Dominican Complex for Season). Full benefits (medical, vision, dental). Salary based on experience.

Qualifications:

Current NATA BOC Certification and CPR/AED Certification Required.

Current Valid Passport or Eligible to Obtain a Valid Passport Required.

Ability to Pass a Background Check and Drug Screening Required

Prior baseball experience preferred, but not required.

Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred but not required.
