Summary Full time position (12 month contract), for certified athletic trainer. Responsibilities include spring training and extended spring training duties with the possibility of additional winter camps and instructional league in September/October.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Other duties may be assigned.
- Prevention/care for baseball related injuries and rehabilitation of athletic injuries
- Implementation of Milwaukee Brewers policies/protocols
- Proper record keeping in the league wide EMA
- Administrative duties as needed
Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Applicant must be certified and in good standing with the NATABOC
- Prior baseball experience is encouraged by not required
- Bilingual is recommended but not required.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
To perform the job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and Internet Explorer.
Approx. 30-40 hours per week in off-season
Approx. 60-80 hours per week during spring training
Approx. 50-70 hours per week during season (includes Instructional league from Mid-September-mid October)
