- Sean Cunningham, 40, is entering his fifth season as head athletic trainer for the Florida Marlins. Prior to joining the Marlins, Cunningham served as coordinator for strength, conditioning, and team travel for the Montreal Expos from 1997 to 2001. He began his athletic training career as an assistant trainer at Indianapolis (AAA) before becoming head athletic trainer at Burlington, Vt. (A), Jacksonville, Fla. (AA), and West Palm Beach, Fla. (A). A native of Boston, he graduated in 1986 from Canisius College and received his master's degree in exercise science from Florida Atlantic University. A certified athletic trainer and a certified strength and conditioning specialist, Cunningham lives in Jupiter, Fla., with wife, Michelle, and their three sons, Eric, Kyle, and Ryan.

- Mike Kozak, 46, is entering his fourth season as the assistant athletic trainer for the Florida Marlins. A Toronto native, Kozak is the only native Canadian working in MLB athletic training rooms. He started his athletic training career with the Royal York Junior Hockey Club in 1977 before joining the Hamilton, Ontario, YMCA as an athletic trainer. In 1981 Kozak begin his career in baseball as an assistant athletic trainer with the Montreal Expos. In 1995, Kozak was the first National League assistant athletic trainer honored to serve in an All- Star Game. Kozak lives in Kirland, Quebec, with wife, Maria, and their children, Derek and Caylie. His hobbies include downhill skiing and squash.
