- Mark Letendre, 53 was selected by the Major league baseball Commissioner’s Office to develop and oversee a first-ever, comprehensive athletic health care program for the 68 umpires in the Major Leagues. Letendre served as a Major League Baseball Athletic Trainer at the 1987 and 1994 MLB All-Star Games.Hosted the Taylor Hooton Foundation this past November for the Third Annual "Steroid Awareness Day" in the city of Scottsdale. Established a walking campaign in conjunction with FittLinxx as part of FitCity-Scottsdale. Mark also serves as a Vice President for the Baseball Assistance Team (B.A.T.) charity, is a NATAPAC Board of Director,serves on the the Board of Governors for the Scottsdale Boys and Girls’ Clubs and is a member of the Scottsdale Charros. He and his wife Judy, and daughters, Alyssa and Shannon, reside in Scottsdale, Arizona.
