- Ken Crenshaw, 40, is entering his third season as head athletic trainer for the Arizona Diamondbacks. Crenshaw was the head athletic trainer for the Tampa Bay Devil Rays from 2003 to 2005 and served as the assistant athletic trainer for the Devil Rays from 1998-2002. While with the Devil Rays, Crenshaw shared "Major League Baseball Athletic Training Staff of the Year" honors in 2005 with Ron Porterfield. He also served as the organization’s Minor League athletic training and conditioning coordinator for the 1996 and 1997 seasons. Prior to joining Tampa Bay, Crenshaw worked for seven years as a professional athletic trainer, including four years as Minor League conditioning coordinator for the Atlanta Braves from 1992 to 1995. He also served as an athletic trainer in the Pittsburgh Pirates’ farm system from 1989 to 1991, working with affiliates in Princeton, W.Va., and Welland, Ontario. A native of Carrizozo, N.M., Crenshaw received an undergraduate degree in sports medicine from New Mexico State University in 1990. He is a certified member of the NATA and the (NSCA) National Strength & Conditioning Association. In his spare time, Crenshaw coaches youth sports . Crenshaw, his wife, Robyn, and their sons, Wacy, Wyatt, and Dustin, reside in Chandler, AZ.

- Dave Edwards, 45, was promoted to the Diamondbacks’ Major League club in 1998 after serving as athletic trainer for the organization’s Class A High Desert club in 1997 and Rookie League Arizona team in 1996. Edwards worked with Minor League affiliates in Pocatello and Everett from 1987 to 1990, then served as head athletic trainer for Grand Canyon University from 1991 to 1996 before joining the Diamondbacks’ expansion franchise in late 1996. Acerti- fied member of NATA, he received undergraduate and graduate degrees in athletic training from New Mexico University in 1988 and the University of Nevada in 1991, respectively. A native of Deming, N.M., Edwards now lives in Scottsdale, Ariz. and enjoys golf, hunting, and fishing.
