James Kruk

James Kruk, is entering his 4th year as Head Athletic Trainer for the Chicago White Sox. He spent 2 seasons as Assistant Athletic Trainer (2019-2020). Kruk joined the White Sox Organization in 2008 and has served as the Athletic Trainer at Class AAA Charlotte (2018), Class AA Birmingham (2016-2017), Class A Kannapolis (2014-2015), and Advanced Rookie Great Falls (2009-2013). James also spent the two previous seasons as an athletic training intern with the Philadelphia Phillies. He obtained a Master’s Degree in Athletic Training from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in 2008 and a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education from Coastal Carolina University in 2006. James is a certified member of the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA), and is a certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). He lives in Acworth, GA with his wife, Lauren and their three children, Quinn, Landon, and Owen.

Brett Walker

Brett Walker, is entering his 10th season as a physical therapist/assistant athletic trainer for the Chicago White Sox. Walker spent one year as the minor league physical therapist in Glendale, AZ. He obtained a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy in 2004, and a Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training in 2013, both from the University of Mary. Walker completed a sports residency in Boise, ID, in 2009 and became a Board Certified Sports Physical Therapist in 2010. At which point he moved to Great Falls, MT, and got his start in baseball by volunteering with the White Sox rookie ball affiliate. He completed an internship with the Minnesota Twins in 2013. In 2018, the White Sox Athletic Trainers won the Major League Athletic Training Staff of the Year with Herm Schneider and Brian Ball. He completed his Manual Therapy Certification (MTC) through Evidence in Motion in 2019. A native of Culbertson, MT, Walker lives in Litchfield Park, AZ with his wife and two children.

Josh Fallin

Josh Fallin, is entering his 5th year as Assistant Athletic Trainer for the Chicago White Sox. Fallin joined the White Sox Organization in 1999 and has served as the Athletic Trainer for Class AAA Charlotte (2019), Class AA Birmingham (2011-2012), Class A Winston-Salem (2001-2010, 2013-2018), and Class A Burlington (1999-2000). He has been awarded Athletic Trainer of the Year 3 times in the Carolina League (2005, 2007, 2014) and once in the Southern League (2012). Fallin obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training from New Mexico State University in 1998 where he worked with the football and baseball programs. He served as the Head Athletic Trainer for the 2007 National Champion Men’s Soccer team at Wake Forest University. Josh is a certified member of the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) and the North Carolina Athletic Trainers Association (NCATA). He resides in Lewisville, NC with his wife, Brenna and their two daughters Kaylee and Anna.

Herm Schneider

Herman Schneider is beginning his 48th season in the Major Leagues and his 6th in the role as Head Trainer Emeritus. Born in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, and raised in Rochester, N.Y., Schneider began his health care career in the Minor Leagues with the Orioles’ Florida Instructional League team in 1969. The following season he joined the New York Yankees and made stops at each level of their system while also working nine years as head athletic trainer for Ponce in the Puerto Rican Winter League. Schneider earned his bachelor’s degree in sports medicine from Monroe Community College in Rochester, N.Y., in 1975. He served as assistant athletic trainer for the Yankees during their World Championship years of 1977 and 1978 before joining the Chicago White Sox as head athletic trainer in 1979. In 2003, Schneider was an athletic trainer for the Major League Baseball All-Star Game in Chicago’s U.S Cellular Field. He also served as an athletic trainer for the All-Star Game in 1977, 1983, 1991 and 2016. Along with his assistant, Mark Anderson, Schneider received the 1996 “Major League Baseball Athletic Training Staff of the Year Award,” and in 2018 he received this same award along with Brian Ball and Brett Walker. In 1988 Herm served as one of the trainers for the US MLB All Star Team that went to Japan to play against the Japanese All Star team. Schneider served as a board member for the Deicke Center for Visual Rehabilitation. He lives in Naperville, Illinois with his wife, Janet, and has two adult children, Daniel and Caitlin.
